Michał has nearly 20 years of experience in real estate law handling numberless mandates in this sector.
He advises on all types of real estate projects from the corporate, transactional and tax perspective. He works primarily with large developers, focusing on retail and office developments, and guiding clients through all stages of investment processes (incl. due diligence, permits/licenses, financing, leasing and sale). Michał assists clients in the negotiation and execution of real estate sale agreements, construction works agreements, service agreements (incl. ones with architects and other experts) and infrastructure agreements. He advises on leasing processes, negotiating and executing major lease agreements for retail and office space. He also boasts a strong track record in investment financing.
He works with BUMA Group, ECC Real Estate, Echo Investment, Globalworth, Porto Office, Rank Progress, Reino Partners and YIT Development.
Michał’s transactions include: a range of real property acquisitions for Echo Investment and YIT Development; sale, leasing and financing transactions related to large office and residential projects run by BUMA Group (incl. DOT Office, Wadowicka 3, and CU Office); joint venture between Rank Progress and Vantage Development for a large investment project (estimated value: PLN 767m); comprehensive advisory for ECC Real Estate in regard to the development, financing and leasing of a large shopping mall, Nowa Stacja in Pruszków.
Michał has been recommended by Chambers Europe each year since 2016 in Real Estate, by The Legal 500 EMEA 2024 in Real Estate, Construction, Banking and Finance as well as by IFLR1000 in Banking.
Michał speaks English and German.
Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at Warsaw University where he also attended a seminar in German and European law, run in cooperation with the Institute of Law and Political Science at the University of Bonn.
